Residential & Commercial: Structured Wiring Services

Custom Home Wiring Services

Cat.5e Networking, Fiber Optics, Stereo, Coax, and Alarm Wiring is becoming popular in many new homes.  While your home is being built or remodeled, we can install all major low voltage wires and cables!

We take care of every step and work closely with your General Contractor and yourself to ensure quality and enjoyable results.
The beautiful thing about modern structured wiring is that you don't have ugly wires exposed or battle fading Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g) signals!

The Basics of a "Smart Home"

Today's homes have numerous means of communications within that require wiring or cabling in one fashion or another.  A "Smart Home" encompasses all of these modern needs and allows the homeowner the ability to connect all sorts of technology into any jack in the house and be supplied with its related service.  It used to be simply electricity and telephone wiring was the standard and maybe a couple COAX runs were included, but now you have High Speed Networks, Voice (telephone), Video, and Music

Wouldnt it be nice to simply go in any room and have dedicated high speed broadband ports to plug into?   Or, perhaps have speaker wire already installed in your walls for a future home theatre?

The Elements:

1) DISTRIBUTION PANEL:  The Distribution panel, or "MDF", is where all your wires and cables terminate.  With them all in a centralized location, it makes it easy to route services to the desired port in your house.  This is similar to the old telephone operators that "patch" callers into eachother.  (see pic below)

2) HIGH QUALITY WIRING:  Data Zing uses only the best in Industry Standard cables!  There are many city and state code regulations that we follow and abide by.  A lot of companies put in cheap cable and think you'll never know the difference since (most likely) you'll never see it.  We only use the highest quality wires, cables, connectors, and jacks and will show you the difference!

3) MULTI-OPTION JACKS:  When you walk into a room in your current house, most likely you see some power outlets and maybe a phone jack.  Now imagine, a phone jack, high speed network or internet jack, stereo jacks, fiber optic jacks, RCA jacks, and a COAX (cable TV), HDTV, and even a security camera jack all in one faceplate?  Pretty cool huh?  Jacks and outlets in each room will be configured exactly to your liking in any configuration!

The Advantages:

Your home future-ready:   Imagine storing your entire music collection on a home computer and accessing it anywhere in your home. Imagine hanging a Flat-screen TV almost anywhere in the house. Imagine being able to see your child in his/her crib from a computer at work. Technology moves fast and provides solutions in ways that were previously unthinkable or impossible. Although it is very very hard to completely future-proof your home, a wired home gets you future-ready.

Convenience, Comfort & Security:  By distributing the cable-tv, internet, telephone, audio signals throughout the house, you can conveniently access the subscription based services where you need it, and block it for parental control. With a structured wiring solution in place, you can add home automation technology easily, allowing you to control various appliances from any where in the home and remotely via the Internet.

Investing in your home: A properly wired home is easier to sell to prospective buyers and typically increases the value of the home one to three percent!
